Waters of LIFE Pilot Agri-Environmental Programme Booklet

Waters of LIFE will be hosting farm-plan clinics across its five demonstration sub-catchments in February and March 2025. The EU-funded project are inviting all eligible farmers who expressed an interest in the Waters of LIFE pilot agri-environmental programme.

Contract offers and farm-plan proposals are being issued to all eligible farmers over the coming weeks. The clinic is the farmer’s opportunity to meet with a catchment scientist, ask any questions and submit their documentation in person.

Each appointment will last 15 minutes to ensure all eligible farmers can be accommodated. No advance booking is required. Eligible farmers are also welcome to contact their local catchment scientist directly for further information and discussion.

Eligible farmers may also wish to speak to their agricultural advisor about the programme. Waters of LIFE recently held advisor training for each catchment on the role of the advisor in delivering the agri-environmental programme. Participation in training is required for all advisors who wish to work with Waters of LIFE and a list of approved advisors will be shared with farmers.

Details of each farm plan clinic are below. Please note all times and venues are subject to change. Eligible farmers will receive updates directly from Waters of LIFE.
